Asset Mapping

Congregational Asset Mapping is more of a process than a training. It calls for the congregation’s staff and lay people to participate in an interactive event for the purpose of identifying and using God’s gifts for outreach ministry.This training is ideal for determining an area of social service outreach that can be carried out by the congregation using the assets it already has. When the congregation says “we don’t have much to work with” followed by the question “what can we do?” it is time to consider this training. Once completed, your congregation will have A basic plan for social service outreach which will include members committed to developing and carrying out their ideas. The process is creative, high energy, and fun. It can also be replicated with any group, board or task force in the congregation for planning!
