“More Than an Arch” Bus Tour Featuring a Follow-up Discussion and Lunch

To effectively engage our communities, we must know the story of why things are the way they are. In an effort to move beyond a traditional workshop, Send Me has partnered with the Missouri Historical Society and See STL for an engaging bus tour. The tour will explore both south and north St. Louis neighborhoods, connecting them along the way with general St. Louis history and punctuated with discussion and visits to sites related to St. Louis’ complicated social histories regarding racial divides.
Following the tour, we will gather for lunch at Intersect Arts Center to reflect on the tour and its implications for ministry.
Cost – $10 per person (includes box lunch)
Current policy on mask wearing for this event:
- During tour: Masks are required for all people, vaccinated and unvaccinated, while on the bus.
- For lunch/discussion: Per the current St. Louis City mask mandate, masks are required for all people, vaccinated and unvaccinated, while indoors except while eating and drinking.
