During this 101-level workshop, you will examine five key shifts that a church or organization should consider when seeking to engage, serve, and love your community.
Informed and influenced by such books as “When Helping Hurts” and “Toxic Charity” along with ideas of Asset-Based Community Development, the power of proximity, and the importance of listening, this workshop is ideal for both those new to the field and veterans seeking a refresher.
