Description:

Serving others in their pain often means coming face-to-face with deep brokenness—and for many volunteers and ministry leaders, the weight of this work takes a personal toll. Whether you’re a volunteer offering meals and conversation, a church leader coordinating community outreach, or someone walking alongside those in crisis, you may find yourself running low on hope even as you pour it out for others.

This workshop is a study in encouragement and hope for those who give of themselves to meet the needs of others. Rooted in Romans 12:12 — “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” — we’ll explore the sustaining power of Christ’s presence in the midst of personal and shared suffering; and the renewal of our spirits when the work feels overwhelming.
