Formal programs have long been the primary way to serve our communities. Now, though, a “de-programming” of sorts is occurring in our churches and agencies. Leaders are asking: “How can we best equip our people to be salt and light, loving their neighbors where God has placed them? This training will outline the reasons why this is an effective way to engage the community, as well as provide some practical first steps to lead yourself, and others, into a new but historic ministry.
