Send Me St. Louis hires Executive Director

We are excited to announce that effective September 28, 2026, Lorri Holtgrieve will be joining the team as the Executive Director of Send Me St. Louis.
“I am thrilled to welcome Lorri as the next Executive Director of Send Me St. Louis. She brings a passion for building relationships, deep knowledge of the St. Louis community, and proven nonprofit leadership experience that will be a tremendous asset to our church, ministry, and nonprofit partners.
I am excited to see how she will lead Send Me into this next season of ministry, expanding opportunities for learning and equipping churches/ministries to engage their communities holistically and prepare volunteers for meaningful service.” – Matt Miller, President/CEO Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis
Lorri brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership to the role, including a 20-year career with Lutheran Hour Ministries and, most recently, five years as Executive Director of Humanitri, a faith-based organization dedicated to stabilizing families in crisis and equipping them to make sustainable changes in their lives.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and Spanish from Saint Louis University, where she studied in both St. Louis and Madrid, Spain; a master’s degree in communication management from Webster University; and a certificate in nonprofit management from Washington University.
The daughter of a Lutheran pastor, Lorri grew up watching her father model a life of faith and service—an influence that continues to shape how she leads. She is passionate about helping others build the relationships, skills, and support they need to serve their communities well. Lorri sees this role as a natural extension of her faith and vocation and looks forward to serving alongside the Send Me St. Louis team.
Lorri is a member of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church and resides in South St. Louis County with her husband and son.
