Organizations that have met with Send Me St. Louis and have met the minimal criteria CLICK HERE to be directed to VolunteerMatch to register your nonprofit.  After completing your VolunteerMatch registration contact us so that your opportunities will be featured on the Send Me St. Louis site.  Your opportunities will post at both Send Me St. Louis and VolunteerMatch.

Congregations

Our Partnership with VolunteerMatch

Send Me St. Louis is “Connecting Christian volunteers with the community.”   Our tool (partner) for connecting volunteers, community organizations and local congregations is VolunteerMatch.  When an individual or organization registers and either searches or posts volunteer opportunities on the Send Me site, you are actually being passed through to the VolunteerMatch engine.  See the VolunteerMatch site for their privacy policy.

Send Me St. Louis is dedicated to helping connect volunteers and organizations for a SUCCESSFUL volunteering partnership.  Send Me St. Louis qualifies and chooses the organizations and opportunities that are highlighted on our site by sitting with the organizations to ascertain that they have some minimum volunteer management practices in place.    While this does not guarantee success to either the organization or volunteer, it is indicative of a desire for success. 

Please remember that this is just an online tool for exploring and connecting with volunteers and volunteer opportunities. Send Me St. Louis offers many aditional tools for helping to insure successful volunteering which includes, but is not limited to, Volunteer Preparedness Training, on-going support, reflection and faith building for the individual volunteer. For organizations and congregations we offer on-going consulting, Volunteer Management Trainings, and assessment to help you build the effective capacity of your volunteer programs. All services are offered free of charge thanks to funding by Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis.
