Retired Reverend Vernon Gunderman
to Lead Send Me St. Louis Board of Directors

Vernon Gunderman, retired pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, has agreed to lead the Send Me St. Louis Board of Directors for 2009-10. The three-person board includes Jim Dankenbring, Vice Chair and Partner at Spencer, Fane, Britt & Browne LLP and Julie Claus, Treasurer and COO at Transtria.  The board will be instrumental in guiding Send Me St. Louis through its growth phase as it establishes its volunteer recruitment and management services and reaches out to the greater St. Louis community on behalf of the Lutheran Foundation and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
